A Different Kind of Web Page Sound Technique - Audio Controlled by Javascript via Hidden Flash
Sure, you can just have a visible Flash Movie on the page and include sounds but what if you are just interested in the audio - plus you want to script the sounds from Javascript for things like audio-enhanced page events? Use an audio-only embedded flash movie and the FlashSound API to control it. (a small Javascript Library).

Clicks in a Looped Sample? - Remove them with Sound Forge or Audacity
This is a breif tutorial that gives you the main pointers to removing those annoying clicks from a sound sample you are trying to loop seamlessly. ( I can even summarize it for you here: select just very brief sections of the beginning and the end of the sample of no more than 3 milliseconds in length each and fade them in and out respectively. But you knew that. )
